Look nice!
Very nice indeed! Good job guys.
I have installed Unite17 and can use Skype, but difficult to install a Antivirus program – both AVG Free and Avast home free.
Why would you need a virus scanner on Linux?
If you have a Winblows computer present
Why do you want to install Windows programs in Linux? LOL
Try Kasperski….. LOL
SGopher. For my own security. Internet banking etc. I found Avari antivirus, which I could install.
i was not able to get wifi.
had difficulty with it…
i was not able to get wifi.
You need to use the Unity Control Center to set it up the wifi.
downloaded the ISO but it is a dvd file. any chance of instructions for creating a live USB with it?
UNETBOOTIN is capable of doing that. Assuming these are all live images, there is a Windows and a Linux version available for free download, or if you already run a Linux, it may be in it's software repositories already (see it's packages installer – for example, in Ubuntu/Mint it s in Software Manager or Synaptic Package Manager). btw, these all appear to be CD images, I don't see any larger version requiring DVD or large USB sticks.
The ISO's file size is 734836 KB, which means that it won't fit in a CD, since the max size in those is 700MB. Unless I'm missing something, the file must be burned on a DVD. In addition, ISO recorder V2 for windows identifies the ISO as a DVD file not as a CD file, but does not support DD burning, so I'm now searching for an ISO recorder that does.
As fr Unetbootin, I'm sure it is capable, but it's current list of supported distros does not contain Unity, let alone any of its derivatives or associated desktops. Unless I'm missing something Unetbootin will not create a live USB unless the distro is submitted to unetbootin. This is the reason why I asked for manual instructions for creating the Live USB.
Now If you or anyone else knows of a specific way to create either a live dvd or a live USB for this distro, it would be greatly appreciated.
Hi!
I hope this will helpfull:

I found some problem in the system, if you update it, the full gdm theme will be rewrite, because I not rename before my theme, and the plymoth bootsplash will not work correctly, you need do change the setting on Unity CC/boot/theme to silent.
Ok a bit of online research found a windows program called ImgBurn (http://www.imgburn.com/) that will burn live CDs and live DVDs. It is light and freeware. I just used it to burn a live dvd of Unite17 and I'm about to test the program.
Unity has Enlightenment with Ecomorph iso's,
a minimal version named HUminity,
and a larger version named HUMANity
(under 700mb)
Mirror is not working
